Gottfried Helnwein is incredible. His images are so disturbing, especially with his repeated use of imagery of innocence in perverse situations like wounded children or Donald Duck in dark alleys. Harry Parker III, the Director of Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco says that

I can now reliably inform you that this is the Virtual Museum of Art, dedicated to the work of Austrian-born artist, Gottfried Helnwein. Those of you into certain forms of metal music may already be familiar with his unsettling images, as his output includes covers and artwork for both Rammstein and Marilyn Manson. He now has an island on which to showcase his work in Second Life. The Museum dominates the island on which it stands, rising to 3 storeys, and stretching across the full width of the sim. Inside it is dark and cool, and the display is large and well constructed. There are several galleries, featuring different phases of Helwein's work. Gottfried Helnwein (ur. 8 października 1948 roku w Wiedniu) - artysta pochodzenia austriacko-irlandzkiego. Uprawia kilka gałęzi sztuk, od tradycyjnego malarstwa, poprzez fotografię a po perfomance. Helnwein studiował malarstwo na Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Wiedniu (Academy of Fine Arts Vienna; Akademie der Bildenden Künste, Wien). Skończył z wyrónieniem (the Master-class prize); otrzymał równie nagrody Kardinal-König prize oraz Theodor-Körner prize.

Barks, who is one of the most eminent American artists of the 20th century, was a leading cartoonist of Walt Disney. He made Donald Duck a highly popular character and created duckdom with his unique style and original stories. He is considered the inventor of Uncle Scrooge, the Beagle Boys, Gladstone Gander and Gyro Gearloose and other inhabitants of duckdom. I tried very hard to think up both a concise and comprehensive bio about Gottfried Helnwein, the artist whose work is featured exclusively throughout our debut album, but it is virtually impossible to wrap my tiny arms around this guy's legacy in one email. gottfried helnwein is really amazing the shit out of me right now. I mean who else can manage to be grotesque and still classy and inspiring? i mean this is the first stranger/artist that really wants to make me sit down and pick his brains and fall in love with his ingenuity. everything about his art is incredible, right down to the titles.
