Collectors Contemporary is a gallery specialising in the exhibition and sale of important works of modern and contemporary art.
Evolving from a collection of artworks built up by a pair of collectors, the vision of a gallery soon emerged that would both facilitate the Western contemporary art market in the region as well as allow the younger generation of art students and art lovers to view original works of modern and contemporary art.
Together with its lineup of shows featuring both well-established masters of the modern and contemporary era, it is also committed to featuring new, artistic, compelling and provocative works by emerging and mid-career artists.
Collectors is situated at Petro Centre, 5 Jalan Kilang Barat, off Jalan Bukit Merah in Singapore. The elegant environment of 3000 square feet features an extra-high ceiling and manoeuverable hanging walls. This exhibition space is primed for a series of breathtaking shows that reflect and explore the artistic issues of the era, affirming the importance of contemporary art and its artists. Each show will run on average for a period of 6 to 7 weeks.
While quality remains its utmost criterion in works it presents for both exhibition and sale, Collectors also pursues a broader educational purpose through its special events programme. Setting aside one day per week specifically for the benefit of students, art groups, institutions and the like, talks and presentations by our professional staff as well as guest specialists will be scheduled regularly.
