Vor 7 Jahre habe ich zum ersten mal Ihre Marlene dietrich gesehen und mich gleich verliebt. 5 Jahre lang suchte ich dieses Bild entlich konnte ich es mir leisten. Habe es gleich in Weissgold einrahmen lassen. Fing mich an für Ihre Kunst zu interesieren, am Anfang fand ich Ihre Bilder schreklich. Genau darum fing mich mehr zu interessieren. In der zwischenzeit finde ich sie genial, herforragend. Jeden Tag weckt es neue Gefühle. Wenn das nicht Kunst ist? Glaube Francis Bacon wäre auch beeindruckt...Hoffe ich habe mal die möglichkeit eine Ihrer Ausstellung zu besuchen. Wünsche Ihnen und Ihrer Familie alles gute für das neue Jahr

I've been slowly becoming more and more in love with your work since I bought Lest We Forget and saw your photographs.
Your art is incredible, your ideas, your drawings. Everything I've seen is amazing.
It's hard to describe how you feel when you find something that captures your attention, and your emotions as your work does for me.
I hope you are content in knowing that you have an effect on people, even if it can't be described. You have accomplished more than millions of others.

Декабрь 2005 hi gottfried, zum einen muss ich sagen, dass ich es beachtlich finde, dass eine lebende legende, ein mensch der bereits zu seinen lebzeiten ein teil der geschichte geworden ist.. ein gewöhnliches gästebuch besitzt. ne ne, das ist schon wahnsinn. ich meine, auch wenn du selbst die beiträge wohl kaum zu gesicht bekommen wirst. nun ja, wie dem auch sei. kritik kann man hier kaum loswerden, selbst wenn es sie gäbe lob? hm, wofür? um der 10000000-ste zu sein der behauptet dich zu vergöttern? ne lass mal. ich sag nur danke für deine werke für deine denkweise danke dass es dich gibt und zwar so wie du bist, und mit dem was du (er)schaffst! ich komm nicht drum rum zu schreiben wie tief ich mich vor dir verneige hochachtungsvoll peter

Habe eine kleine Frage an alle Helnwein-Fans. Mache in der Schule einen Vortrag über den sehr speziellen und absolut genialen Künstler Gottfried Helnwein und habe verschiedentlich den Verweis auf den Film «Helnwein» aus dem Jahre 1984 gefunden der im ARD und ZDF ausgestrahlt wurde. Hat irgendwer eine Ahnung wo ich Ausschnitte aus diesem Film finde?

Ich hoffe sehr, dass ich eines Tages genug Fähigkeiten besitze, um eines Tages ebenso ausdrucksstarke wie bewegende Bilder zu schaffen vermag wie Sie.

Ihr signiertes Buch vom 24.5.aus dem jahre 1983 hat seit dieser Zeit einen Ehrenplatz in meiner großen Grafiksammlung.
Wir haben uns durch Ihre Ausstellung in Graz kennen gelernt und seither bin ich durch Ihre unglaubliche Schaffensweise bei meinen kreativen Entwürfen als Werbegrafiker beeinflusst.
Sie persönlich zu kennen war für mich in all den Jahren sehr wichtig.

I am a new artist very inspired by your works. I loved your latest painting of the rabbit and mice so much, that i decided to paint one similar but much smaller than the one you painted.
